Construction works were started in December, 2010.
Opening ceremony of Buzovna-Mardakan-Gala Motorway Part I was held on May 26, 2013.
During construction of the motorway the infrastructure has been renewed, lighting system has been established, three junctions have been constructed along the motorway.
Construction works were completed in 2016.
